This piece was created outdoors, surrounded by the very things God formed with His hands—
grass beneath my knees, wind brushing across the canvas, sun warming my shoulders, leaves and flowers gathered from the earth He spoke into being.
 
As I painted, God kept whispering,
“Come back to Me. Come back to breath. Come back to the ground I made for you.”
At the time, I felt stretched thin. My spirit was racing, expanding, overflowing with ideas… but my body was tired. I needed to land. I needed stillness. I needed God’s steadying hand.
 
Painting this triptych became my way of returning—
back to presence, back to peace, back to the truth that I am held, rooted, and carried by grace, not by striving.
